Mutton Qorma Recipe

 


Ingredients:

  • Mutton 500 grams 
  • Fried Lotus seed 4 tbsp 
  • Fried onion ½ cup 
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp 
  • Yogurt 1 cup 
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp 
  • Ginger finely cut 2 tbsp 
  • Clarified butter ¾ cup 
  • Almonds (peeled) 8-10
  • Whole mix all spices 1 tbsp 
  • All spices powder ½ tsp 
  • Salt as required 
  • Turmeric as required 
  • Red Cayenne Chili as required
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp 
  • Nutmeg & Mace powder ½ tsp 
  • Screwpine essence few drops 

Method:

In mutton add yogurt to mix and set aside. After half an hour fry the marinated mutton and remove it. Then fried Lotus seed and fried onion mix and crushed it .Then add clarified butter and whole spices to fry lightly .Then add ginger garlic paste ,salt ,red cayenne chili ,turmeric ,coriander powder and yogurt mix and roast .then fry mutton and roast again now add 1 cup of water and cook till mutton gets tender .when water dry then add all spice powder ,finely cut ginger ,desiccated coconut ,Nutmeg & Mace powder, onion and mixture of Lotus seed and leave on dum .then dish out and add Screw pine .finally garnish with ginger and peeled almonds .
