Ingredients:
- Bottle gourd ½ kg
- Boiled gram lentil 2 cups
- Chopped tomatoes 2
- White cumin ½ tsp
- Nigella sativa 2 pinch
- Fennel seeds ¾ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder to taste
- Turmeric to taste
- Mix whole spices as required
- All spice powder ½ tsp
- Oil ¾ cup
- Finely cut green chilies 2-3
- Mint 2 tbsp
Method:
Peel the bottle gourd and cut it .then heat oil and fry onion .now add white cumin,boiled chopped tomatoes ,salt ,red chili powder and turmeric and roast well .then add bottle gourd and roast masala .after this add ½ cup of water and cook .when half done then add gram lentils ,Nigella sativa and fennel seeds then leave on dum . When bottle gourd tender then add all spices , green chili and mint mix and serve .
